Mississippi redistricting hearings conclude; maps and session call remain separate steps

Mississippi Today reports that the final redistricting hearing took place Oct. 1 at the Capitol. Public hearings have concluded. That does not establish enacted maps or a new special-session call. The governor election remains statewide.
